The ukulele is an instrument that came to us from Hawaii and traveled with the first immigrants to Portugal and then became known throughout Europe. Its lively character as well as its small size has made it a very popular instrument which can easily participate in a variety of ensembles. Its low cost and ease of audio production as well as its transfer, are some of the many advantages of the instrument. Through the ukulele lessons the student has the opportunity to build his technique and gradually develop the speed of his playing. The aim of the course is to enhance the student’s self-confidence so that he can alternate comfortably in all the repertoires he desires as well as creativity and improvisation.
