The first signs of the flute go back thousands of years, with historical evidence that Neanderthals used it as a musical instrument 50,000 years ago. In Ancient Greece there was the avlos and over the centuries it passed to the Middle East and in recent years entered the classical orchestras. Its serene and polite sound makes it a sophisticated instrument which enables the student to develop his lyricism and musicality. In flute lessons the student learns the correct breathing and its management, as well as the correct positioning of the hands in order to “build” the plasticity of the movements.
