Voice and speech are basic tools of the teacher and they play a catalytic role in the teaching process as well as in attracting the attention of students, (one of the most demanding audiences that exist). Misuse of the voice, which is mainly due to incorrect breathing and poor support, leads to many problems, such as scratching the throat, hoarseness, and even losing the voice in some cases. Through orthophony lessons the teacher has the ability to avoid possible damage to his/her voice as well as to determine the degree of deliverance of the message he wants to convey through his lesson. The more transparent, clearer and more expressive the speech, the more the above process is favored. Through this procedure he can keep the students’ interest as well as protect his voice from joint problems, confused speech, too fast speech rhythm, etc.
