Teaching the theory of music in the Byzantine incompetent system. Compulsory course for all students of Byzantine and traditional music. The curriculum includes: general music and sound, terminology, basic elements for reading a score (notes, time values, etc.). The student learns to read and acknowledges that he has learned the theory in melodic incompatible singing.
The main goal of the course is for the young musician to solve issues related to the understanding of the score and the elements of the music so that he can perform a musical text to the best of his abilities.
