
Lena Tzampazi was born and raised in Thessaloniki. At the age of nine she started classical guitar lessons with Stavros Krommidas and continued her studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki, class of Panagiotis Vassiliadis, from where she graduated in June 2006 with an excellent grade.
She has attended classical guitar seminars with Hubert Käppel, Susana Prieto and Alexis Mouzouraki (Duo Melis).
Since 2008 she has been teaching classical and acoustic guitar lessons to students of all ages.
Since 2004 she participates in a variety of musical groups playing classical, acoustic and electric guitar in music stages, festivals and concerts throughout Greece with various composers, conductors and performers (including Antonis Mitzelos, Lakis Papadopoulos, Thodoris Voutsikakis, Dimi Maki Aivazoglou, Panagi Barbati) as her repertoire moves in many different places of world and Greek music. Since 2016 she is a member of the rebetiko band “The Angels of Tsitsanis” playing folk guitar and singing. In 2018 she participated in the tour of Thodoris Voutsikakis and the lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou entitled “Throw in your dreams”.
She participates in the album “Omorfi Zoi” (music by Nicola Piovani, lyrics by Lina Nikolakopoulou, performed by Thodoris Voutsikakis, orchestrated by Antonis Sousamoglou) and in a variety of independent discographic works by many renowned and young artists.
She has attended vocal lessons with Evi Siamanta and Spyros Sakkas as well as jazz harmony with Grigoris Simadopoulos.
She is a graduate of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia.
